On March 6, 1957, Vince Sr. opened the first Vince's Steak Shop in the basement of his Allentown home and a Lehigh Valley tradition was born.

In the 60's, Vince's Drive-In on Walbert Avenue was one of the first eateries in the area to feature specialty pizzas and drive-thru service. The 1970's saw the beginning of Vince's fair and festival tradition throughout the region.

In 1985, Vince Jr. opened a new Vince's Steak Shop on 15th Street in Allentown, serving our signature steaks sandwiches to a new generation of patrons and friends in the Lehigh Valley's first double drive-thru operation. That same year, Vince's introduced a popular menu of fine German foods at the Kutztown Folk Festival and our "Das Wurst Haus" continues this tradition every year. The fair and festival business grew throughout the 80's and 90's and includes the Allentown, Kutztown, Schnecksville and Bloomsburg Fairs.

In the 2000s, Vince's remains a family business committed to quality.  In 2002, readers of the Press-Enterprise voted Vince's "Best of The Area" in the Bloomsburg Fair Food category. In 2006, Vince's was honored to receive the Outstanding Concession Award at the Allentown Fair. 2006 also marked our 30th year at the Allentown and Bloomsburg Fairs and saw the debut of our website. In 2007 we celebrated our 50th year in business.

In 2008, we opened a permanent establishment centrally located between Allentown and Trexlertown on Hamilton Boulevard and Mill Creek Road. Our sincere thanks goes out to everyone who has helped us reach these milestones, and we look forward to serving you soon!
